An intimate affair to remember, Jade & Luke said “I do” in one of the most romantic locations in the world — at the magical Paronella Park.
In 1935, José Paronella opened Paronella Park, with a vision of making it the premier wedding venue in Far North Queensland. The Park’s extravagant ballroom was, for many years, the first choice for weddings and celebrations, however, this abruptly ended in 1979 when a fire tore through the building. Now, 75 years on, Paronella Park’s owners have appointed a dedicated wedding planner to ensure that once again, the Park’s gorgeous grounds are filled with happy wedding guests, beautiful brides, and nervous grooms.
With the picturesque ruins and waterfalls of Mena Creek as the backdrop to their ceremony, the sky really was the limit when it came to capturing the wonder-filled love between Jade and Luke… and how infectious are their smiles!
This is also the first wedding where original music was used! Tristan Barton, a good friend and extremely talented composer hand crafted the music score heard in the film. After a bit of backwards and forwards between looking at the raw footage and discussing ideas for the music, a carefully composed score of strings, piano and synths emerged! Original music compositions will become an option from 2017 🙂
